March 2007
This is one of my newer projects completed. I actually have finished a bag also, but I have
not taken its picture yet. As soon as I get that I will show you.
This is a great hat that I found at Angel's Crochet.
It is a Basic Bucket Hat.
She says it should fit the average woman's head, but I did not like the way it fit mine. And that is why my daughter is
wearing it. It actually fit my mom's head great. I am not sure why I thought it fit me wrong. I just
must have a large cranium.
Anyway, Angel's Crochet provides great patterns. They are all of her own design. I encourage
you to check her out.
February 2007
Yeah, I finished my project. A few months back I found the cutest little frog in the
March 2007 issue of Crochet Magazine.
I thought to myself I can do that. It is considered intermediate level, but I am
always up for a challenge.
Well, I got a challenge. I was definitely not prepared for all the tubelike appendages.
They were more difficult than I thought they would be.
It is now done and I have a picture for you. I have a confession though. The eyes and
mouth were suppose to be sown on, but I decided I had enough of challenges. I hot-glued them
on. It was a lot easier and faster.
I think I am probably still in the beginner category, but everyone needs a challenge now and then.

Crochet
June 2007
I was able to get back to crocheting this month.
I made something for myself and something for birthday gifts.
Crochet Me Traveling Bag
I really enjoyed making this bag.
It has become the perfect bag to hold all of my crochet stuff in.
I used Bernat Softee Chunky yarn to make it.
Date Night Bag
I am not able to give you a link to this one.
I found this one in the April 2007 Edition of Hooked on Crochet! Magazine.
I made this one for one of my daughters friends and she loved it.
I used Caron Simply Soft yarn and I changed the pattern a little.
I attached the strap differently and instead of a button,
I crocheted a flower on the front to use for the closure.
May 2007
May, well, it is over. It just brought a lot of stuff.
The end of school and around here, the end of dance.
I really did not have any time to do any crocheting.
April 2007
April is a month of birthdays. I created two bags for two different family members.
Then I also made a Kluster for my crochet hooks. This was the first thing I felted.
It was a lot of fun. It was fun to crochet something huge then wash it and see it become
what you wanted. I have linked you through the names of the patterns to the patterns.
Brandi's Bag
Bernat Crochet Market Bag
They recommend using Bernat Handicrafter Cotton.
I did not use that yarn.
I actually do not know what type of yarn I used.
It was just extra yarn I found. I think my sister left it at my house.
Katie's Purse
I am not sure what yarn I used on this either.
It was also given to me.
I actually created this little purse myself.
I had a great time make my own pattern.
If you are interested, I am willing to let you in on the pattern.
I might even write it out one day. We will have to see.
Berroco Kluster
I really enjoyed this project.
Like I said above, I really enjoyed felting this project.
It was very easy and if you do not have something to hold your
crochet hooks in, this is great.
